NHP has taken blade performance to the next level by developing a cam mounting system that will allow the blades to be fitted in the blades grips in varying positions giving the pilot the ability to tune the blades response to suit their own flying style like never before! During flight the C.G. (Center of Gravity) of the blade will align with the rotor head rotational axis. If the mounting hole is moved forward the blade tip will move forward (lead) making the control inputs more active and faster responding. This suits an aerobatic 3D style of flying. If the mounting hole is moved back the reverse happens the blade tip moves back (lag) making the control inputs slower. This suits a beginner or scale style of flying. NHP's patented 'cam' mounting system has a range of 7 positions with 3 leading and 3 lagging positions either side of center. In addition a new blade has been developed specifically for use with the CAMS. 'High Modulus' carbon fibre has been used to dramatically increase torsional stiffness while keeping the root-to-tip flexibility. This makes for a smoother more precise control response as the blade now provide some of the dampening effect.
